Oman’s non-petroleum activities reached RO 7.3 billion with a 2.5 percent growth rate in the third quarter of 2025.

MUSCAT – The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) has released data indicating continued growth in non-petroleum activities within Oman’s gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices during the third quarter of 2025.

According to the data, the value of non-petroleum activities reached RO 7.3 billion in the third quarter of 2025, marking a 2.5 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024. This growth represents an increase of approximately RO 175.4 million year-on-year.

The data highlighted several sectors as key contributors to this growth. Accommodation and food service activities recorded the highest growth rate at 11.8 percent, followed by refined petroleum products at 9.7 percent. Professional, technical and administrative activities grew by 5.7 percent, while telecommunications and information activities recorded growth of 5.6 percent.
