TEHRAN : The embassy has advised all Indian citizens in Iran, including students, pilgrims, businesspersons, and tourists, to leave the country as a precautionary measure due to the evolving security situation. The advisory emphasises avoiding protest zones, staying in touch with the embassy, and monitoring local media for updates.
Indian nationals are also urged to keep their travel and immigration documents, including passports and IDs, readily accessible. For any assistance, they are advised to contact the embassy directly.
