MUSCAT – This high rate of single-occupancy vehicles leads to inefficient use of road space and significantly contributes to traffic congestion across the city.
In response, the municipality is encouraging residents to “Create the change, carpool today,” highlighting carpooling as an effective solution to ease congestion, reduce emissions, and promote smarter, more sustainable daily travel.
