Dubai: Infantino revealed the decision during his presentation titled “The Next 90 Minutes: Charting the On-Pitch Evolution of Football”, where he outlined FIFA’s long-term vision and strategic direction for the global game.
The annual The Best FIFA Football Awards honour excellence across world football, recognising top-performing male and female players, managers and teams. Winners are selected through a comprehensive voting process involving fans, journalists, national team captains and coaches, based on performances across the season.
The most recent ceremony, held in Doha, saw Ousmane Dembélé named Best Player after his standout role in Paris Saint-Germain’s historic treble-winning campaign.
