MUSCAT : The MSX “30” index ended the day at 5,944.80 points, down 2.96 points or 0.05 per cent, compared to the previous session’s close of 5,947.76 points, according to official market data.
Total trading value stood at RO 29.36 million, marking a 2.29 per cent decrease from the RO 30.05 million recorded in the previous trading session. The report issued by Muscat Stock Exchange also indicated that overall market value declined slightly by 0.024 per cent, settling at approximately RO 32.15 billion.
Foreign investor activity remained positive during the session. Non-Omani purchases reached RO 3.10 million, accounting for 10.57 per cent of total trading, while non-Omani sales stood at RO 1.89 million, representing 6.43 per cent. As a result, net non-Omani investment rose by RO 1.22 million, equivalent to 4.14 per cent of total transactions.
