Muscat: This honour was in recognition of his contributions to strengthening military cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The medal was presented by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimur Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, during a meeting with His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar at his office in Al Murtafa’a Camp today.
The ceremony was attended by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hamad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman, along with the Ambassador of the Saudi Arabia to the Oman, and the Military Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Muscat.
