MUSCAT : The average discount rate stood at 3.84554 percent, while the average yield reached 3.85691 percent.
Treasury bills with a 91-day maturity accounted for the largest share, amounting to RO 45 million. These were allotted at an average accepted price of RO 99.035, with the lowest accepted price at RO 99.025 per RO 100. The average discount rate was 3.87060 percent, and the average yield came in at 3.90832 percent.
Meanwhile, RO 28 million worth of 182-day treasury bills were allocated at an average accepted price of RO 89.069, with the lowest accepted price recorded at RO 89.065 per RO 100. The average discount rate for this tranche stood at 3.87168 percent, while the average yield reached 3.94789 percent.

The Central Bank of Oman noted that the interest rate on repurchase (repo) agreements on these treasury bills is 4.25 percent, while the discount rate on treasury bill facilities with the Bank is set at 4.75 percent.
