MUSCAT : The MSX 30 index ended the day at 5,944.34 points, down 14.4 points, or 0.24 per cent, compared to the previous close of 5,958.69 points. Trading value declined sharply to RO 32.58 million, marking a 25.4 per cent drop from the RO 43.68 million recorded in the last session.
According to the exchange’s report, total market value slipped by 0.193 per cent to approximately RO 32.13 billion. Non-Omani investors accounted for RO 2.561 million in purchases, representing 7.86 per cent of total trades, while their sales stood at RO 2.606 million, or 8 per cent. As a result, net non-Omani investment declined by RO 44,000, equivalent to 0.14 per cent.
