MUSCAT : Crowe emerged champions of the 23rd edition of the Auditor’s Cup 2025 after defeating EY in a closely fought final at the Al Amerat Cricket Grounds, capping three days of competitive corporate cricket that brought together eight teams from across Oman’s professional services community.

The tournament, held from December 1 to 3, delivered a series of high-intensity matches marked by strong performances, close finishes and enthusiastic spectator support, reinforcing the Auditor’s Cup’s standing as a key fixture on Oman’s corporate sporting calendar.

New entrants BAF Oman were among the standout stories of the tournament. Making their debut appearance, the team advanced to the Eliminator round and finished as second runners-up, drawing praise for their composure and competitiveness against more established sides.

In the final, EY won the toss and chose to bat, posting 59 runs for five wickets in their allotted six overs. Issa Al Balushi top-scored for EY with a determined 21, helping set a challenging target in the shortened format.

Crowe’s chase began with the early dismissal of all-rounder Balakrishnan Nair, but Ivan Manjila stabilised the innings with a decisive 28 off 18 balls. His composed knock proved pivotal and later earned him the Best Batter award of the tournament. All-rounder Nasfatullah also played a crucial role, contributing quick runs at a strike rate of 200, including two sixes, and taking a key wicket. Crowe reached the target in 5.4 overs to claim their third Auditor’s Cup title.

Individual honours recognised outstanding performances throughout the tournament. Omar Sarfraz of EY was named Player of the Tournament and also topped the chart for maximum sixes. Pankaj Gupta of BAF Oman received the Best Bowler award, while Prakshit, also from BAF, was named Best Wicketkeeper. Moore Oman won the Best Dressed Team award, and Deloitte’s Farid Sheikh received special recognition for exemplary sportsmanship.

Off the field, the event featured live DJ entertainment by A&A and hospitality provided by Beyond Kitchen and Pakistan Palace Restaurant. The tournament was coordinated by Jazz Boys Sports, ensuring smooth organisation across all fixtures.

With competitive cricket, memorable individual displays and a strong spirit of camaraderie, the Auditor’s Cup 2025 once again underlined its reputation as one of Oman’s most anticipated corporate sporting events.
