MUSCAT — Oman’s Minister of Education, Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, visited several schools in the Directorate-General of Education in South Al Batinah on Sunday as part of a field tour to assess educational progress, the Ministry said.

Dr. Al Shaibaniyah reviewed the functioning of the teaching and learning process, inspected school readiness and held discussions with administrators and teaching staff. She also met students and teachers to understand their needs and hear their observations on classroom challenges.

The visit included monitoring the implementation of updated curricula and modern educational programmes, a central component of the Ministry’s ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening learning outcomes across Oman.

According to the Ministry, the tour also sought to reinforce direct communication between educational leadership and field-level educators to ensure that policy objectives are effectively translated into practice.
