KUALA LUMPUR – Flight MH370, a Boeing 777, was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members when it disappeared during its journey from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in 2014.
The most recent search effort in the southern Indian Ocean was suspended in April this year due to adverse weather conditions.
In a statement, the Ministry said that Ocean Infinity, the ocean exploration and survey company, has confirmed it will restart the search for the aircraft, conducting operations intermittently over a 55-day period.
