MUSCAT : Oman’s delegation will be led by H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who will join Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and Highnesses the foreign ministers of all GCC member states.
H.E. Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC, said the 166th meeting forms a vital part of the ongoing preparations for the 46th Supreme Council Summit, set to be hosted next Wednesday in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The summit will convene Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC states, to review collective priorities and regional developments.
Al-Budaiwi noted that tomorrow’s Ministerial Council session will examine reports on the implementation of decisions from the 45th GCC Summit in Kuwait City, alongside memoranda submitted by ministerial and technical committees and the General Secretariat. Discussions will also cover the GCC’s strategic dialogue and relations with global partners, in addition to reviewing the latest regional and international developments.
