MUSCAT — The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested a group of individuals in North Al Batinah Governorate after they were found wearing face coverings in a public location and engaging in disorderly behaviour.
According to the ROP, the group’s actions escalated into a quarrel that resulted in one person being harmed and public peace being disrupted. The incident also caused obstruction to traffic flow and created a state of discomfort among the public.
Authorities confirmed that legal procedures against the individuals are being completed, and the case will be referred to the competent judicial authorities.
