Regional leaders hail Oman’s achievements on its glorious National Day

Officials and ambassadors from several brotherly countries have expressed their admiration for the achievements of the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of its glorious National Day.

MUSCAT : The leaders have commended the nation’s progress under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, highlighting the deep historical ties uniting their countries with Oman and its pioneering role in strengthening regional cooperation and advancing joint development efforts.

His Excellency Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed pride in the significant progress achieved by Oman across various sectors, aimed at enhancing the well-being of its people and elevating its regional and international standing. He wished Oman continued success, stability, and prosperity under its visionary leadership.



His Excellency Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, stated that this national occasion is cherished not only by the Omani people but by all Arabs. He praised the developmental achievements realized under His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, driven by the ambitious Oman Vision 2040, and wished the Sultanate further progress and prosperity.

For his part, His Excellency Ibrahim bin Saad bin Bishan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Oman, emphasised the profound historical ties binding the two nations, describing Saudi-Omani relations as a model of strong partnership and shared strategic vision.

He noted that the relationship between the two countries is founded on mutual respect, common interests, and a shared destiny. Deep historical, cultural, and geographic ties have shaped a unique bond between the two peoples.

He added that relations between the two nations continue to advance under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He affirmed that Saudi-Omani relations are entering a new phase of prosperity and integration, supported by a unified vision for sustainable development and regional stability.

His Excellency Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Oman, described November 20 as an exceptional and historic day for the Omani people, who remain loyal to the leader of the nation’s renewed renaissance, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

He expressed pride in the development and growth witnessed by the Sultanate at the local, regional, and international levels, noting that Oman’s progress across diverse sectors has positioned it among advanced nations, utilizing its rich natural resources and potential.

The Bahraini ambassador praised the strong Bahrain–Oman relations, describing them as deeply rooted, distinguished, and exemplary. He highlighted their solid foundation of brotherhood, mutual understanding, and convergence on many regional and international issues.

He added that recent years have witnessed remarkable development in bilateral ties, guided by the shared vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to realise the aspirations of both nations, which share many strong commonalities.
