MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces has issued a Royal Pardon for 247 prisoners, in a gesture of compassion marking the upcoming National Day celebrations.
According to a statement broadcast by Oman TV, the pardon includes both Omani citizens and expatriates convicted in various cases. The humanitarian gesture reflects His Majesty’s commitment to supporting families and easing their circumstances during this significant national occasion.
