MUSCAT – Aimed at strengthening educational cooperation between the two countries, the visit fostered discussions on exchanging experiences in various educational fields. This included strategic planning, development of educational policies and programmes, digital transformation in administration and learning processes, educational supervision and evaluation, quality assurance in basic and secondary education, and blended and distance learning.
Both sides also reviewed the latest developments regarding the memorandum of understanding between the Omani and Lebanese education ministries, with final procedures underway in preparation for its signing during the upcoming joint committee meetings.
An expanded meeting followed, attended by undersecretaries and specialists from both ministries. The Lebanese delegation presented ‘The Education Sector in the Lebanese Republic,’ while Oman showcased ‘School Education in the Sultanate of Oman and its Future Prospects’. The meeting took place in the Oman Meeting Hall.
