Muscat: King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today receivedSayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, at Al Sakhir Palace in Manama.
During the meeting, the Minister of Interior conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Majesty’s best wishes to him. His Majesty also wished the Bahraini people continued progress and prosperity.
In turn, the King conveyed his heartfelt sentiments to His Majesty the Sultan. He also lauded the continuous development and growth of relations between the two countries across various fields.

During the meeting, they reviewed the existing cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance it in various fields, reaffirming the commitment of the two leaderships to continue coordination and consultation to serve mutual interests.
The meeting was attended on the Omani side by Maj. General Abdullah bin Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, and Sayyid Faisal bin Harib Al Busaidi, Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain. On the Bahraini side, the meeting was attended by General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior. It was also attended by several officials from both countries.
