SalamAir operates more than 600 charter flights to 60 destinations during COVID-19

MUSCAT: With airports closed in the wake of coronavirus outbreak, Oman’s budget airline SalamAir has operated 651 charter flights to 60 destinations in the last six months

In a statement issued to Oman News Agency (ONA), Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir said the carrier transported more than 67,000 passengers since the closure of the airport. “SalamAir manages to use 30% of its fleet and operate more than 651 charter flights to 60 destinations with more than 67,000 passengers traveling on board,” he added.

Oman will reopen all its airports for scheduled flights from October 1.
