MUSCAT — Schools across Oman will now compete for an ever-rolling championship trophy as The Arabian Stories (TAS) launches its inaugural Inter-School Badminton Tournament.
Organised in partnership with Morning Stars Badminton Club and hosted at Kosmos Badminton Academy in Wadi Kabir, the tournament is set to become a key fixture in Oman’s school sports calendar. More than 500 young athletes are expected to take part across multiple age categories, with the winning school earning the rolling trophy — a symbol of sporting excellence that will pass from one champion school to the next each year.
The competition features U-17 and U-13 boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles events, as well as mixed doubles. Free registration reflects TAS’s commitment to promoting youth sports and developing grassroots badminton talent across the Sultanate.
