MADRID : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed the Kingdom of Spain on Wednesday, concluding a highly significant state visit that reinforced Oman–Spain relations across political, economic, cultural and investment spheres.

During the visit, His Majesty held talks with His Majesty King Felipe VI and senior Spanish officials, focusing on expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, renewable energy, tourism, infrastructure development, technology and defense collaboration. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening institutional partnerships and supporting private-sector engagement.
