MUSCAT : According to the Ministry, the project is a strategic national initiative that is aimed at developing modern infrastructure to support the growth of fishery industries and enhance the added value of the fisheries sector in the Sultanate of Oman.
The project seeks to strengthen the fisheries system and supply chains, implement sustainable solutions to preserve the marine environment, and support local and foreign investment opportunities — all in line with Oman’s vision of promoting a sustainable blue economy.
The Ministry invited specialised and registered companies under the Projects, Tenders, and Local Content Authority to submit their bids via the e-tendering platform at https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.om.
The Ministry also announced that the deadline for submitting tenders has been extended to Sunday, November 9, 2025.
