Algiers: The activities of the 13th edition of the Oran International Arabic Film Festival continue in the city of Oran, western Algeria, with the participation of 63 cinematic works representing various artistic schools and trends in the Arab world.

The official competition of the festival includes 10 long narrative films, most notably “Lego Queen” (60 minutes), by Omani director Haitham Sulaiman, which tells the story of a girl named “Dhei” who lost her mother when she was a child.
Other films include “Sesame” (with Jordanian participation), and “For a Handful of Sand” (with Algerian participation), among other long narrative films, in addition to 10 long documentary films and 15 short narrative films.
