MUSCAT – The visit, scheduled from November 3 to 5, reflects the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between Oman and Spain.

The state visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and explore avenues of cooperation across political, economic, and cultural spheres. During the visit, the two monarchs are expected to discuss regional and international developments and ways to enhance collaboration for mutual benefit.

Omani-Spanish relations, spanning over five decades, have been characterised by constructive dialogue, high-level exchanges, and joint initiatives in areas including trade, investment, and technology. The visit builds on these foundations, highlighting the shared commitment of both countries to deepen strategic partnerships.

His Majesty is accompanied during the visit by a high-ranking official delegation comprising His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, His Excellency Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, His Excellency Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, His Excellency Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, His Excellency Eng.
