Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, has returned to Oman after participating in the official opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
HH Sayyid Theyazin represented His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik at the landmark inauguration, which marked the unveiling of one of the world’s most significant cultural and archaeological institutions.
The Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Pyramids of Giza, showcases Egypt’s rich heritage through advanced exhibition technology and a vast collection of antiquities, including the complete treasures of Tutankhamun for the first time.
