ANKARA : Speaking to reporters, Fidan said the meeting will bring together the foreign ministers of countries that recently met with U.S. President Donald Trump in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. “We will hold a meeting in Istanbul next Monday with the foreign ministers of the countries that met with President Trump in New York to assess our progress and discuss what we can achieve together in the next phase,” he stated.

According to a Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson, the gathering is expected to include the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Türkiye.

The meeting follows President Trump’s talks with leaders and foreign ministers from these nations on September 23 in New York, where discussions centered on advancing peace efforts in Gaza.
