NEW YORK : The renewed mandate seeks to sustain momentum toward achieving political and security stability in Libya, where rival factions continue to clash over the constitutional framework required to hold long-delayed elections.
Council members underscored the need for genuine commitment to the UN-led process, emphasizing that Libya’s future depends on a credible, Libyan-led dialogue.
