MUSCAT : As per the Ministry’s statement, all activities related to abalone – including possession, processing, transport, sale, purchase, or export – are strictly prohibited during the ban period.
Exceptions apply only to quantities caught in previous seasons and officially registered with the Fisheries Department, provided that prior permits are obtained from the competent authority for their handling.
