MUSCAT – According to the CDAA, the recovery operation followed a report received by its operations centre regarding a body located in an inaccessible area. A specialised rescue team was immediately dispatched to the site and began field operations using advanced mountain rescue equipment and techniques.
The team carried out a precise rappelling operation, employing ropes and aerial support from an aircraft to reach the location, retrieve the body from the steep slope, and hand it over to the relevant authorities to complete legal procedures.
