MUSCAT – Sea Pride LLC, one of Oman’s leading seafood companies, has signed an agreement with His Excellency Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, to establish a modern shrimp farming project valued at RO 8.3 million. The agreement was signed by Mohamed Ameen Sait, CEO of Sea Pride Group, and marks a major milestone in the Sultanate’s efforts to enhance aquaculture production and strengthen food security.
According to the company, the project is designed to meet international standards in aquaculture sustainability and innovation, integrating modern technology and environmentally responsible farming methods. It is expected to be completed within three years and will contribute to job creation, local supply chain development, and export growth.

The Ministry continues to support private sector-led investments that enhance Oman’s competitiveness in regional and global seafood markets.
