BRASILIA : President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of Brazil received His Excellency Ambassador Abdul Ghaffar Al Balushi and welcomed him to his new post, expressing hopes for deeper cooperation between the two nations.
During the meeting, the Omani Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik along with His Majesty’s wishes for good health and happiness to the Brazilian President, and continued prosperity for the friendly people of Brazil.
In turn, President Lula extended his greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, wishing the Sultan and the people of Oman further progress, development, and prosperity.
