MUSCAT – Team Oman 1, represented by Noah Al Jalboubi and Youssef Al-Abri, secured their spot after a convincing 2-0 victory over Bahrain. Meanwhile, Team Oman 2, featuring Hood Al Jalboubi and Ahmed Al Hosni, also earned a semi-final place after defeating Saudi Arabia 2-0 in their quarter-final match.
The two Omani teams will now face each other in an all-Omani semi-final showdown scheduled for today, October 18. The winner will progress to the final to meet the victor of the Algeria vs Tunisia semi-final, while the losing side will compete for third place.
In the women’s competition, the Omani national team was eliminated from contention for the top three positions after suffering 2-0 defeats to both Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.

In the men’s category, 10 teams are competing: Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain have each entered two teams, while Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Sudan have one team each. In the women’s division, 8 teams are participating, with Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain each represented by two teams, and Algeria and Morocco by one team each.
