Oman launches air bridge to deliver earthquake relief aid to Afghanistan

The Oman Charitable Organization (OCO) has launched an air bridge to Afghanistan to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to those affected by the recent devastating earthquake that struck several regions in the country.

MUSCAT : The initiative, carried out in coordination with the Royal Air Force of Oman, includes the delivery of shelter materials and essential relief supplies, aimed at supporting displaced families and those in urgent need of assistance.

Badr bin Mohammed Al Zaabi, Acting CEO of the Oman Charitable Organisation, explained that this shipment is part of a series of airlifts being implemented by the Sultanate of Oman to provide humanitarian aid. He emphasised the organisation’s commitment to responding quickly to help those affected and alleviate their suffering, in cooperation with relevant authorities in Afghanistan.
