MUSCAT – The alert, valid from 12 pm to 8 pm, forecasts the development of thunderstorm clouds accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity ranging between 15 to 35 mm.
Affected areas include the mountainous regions of Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah, and South Al Batinah. The weather phenomena to be aware of include strong downdraft winds ranging from 20 to 45 knots, flash floods in wadis, poor horizontal visibility, and the potential for hail.
