MUSCAT : Lamees Al Lawati, who made history as the first Omani female to hold the CFO role in the country’s downstream oil and gas industry, will participate in the key panel discussion themed: ‘Women in Leadership: Shaping Tomorrow’.
Her participation is expected to bring a unique perspective on financial strategy, resilience, and executive leadership within a major international corporation, aligning with the summit’s overall theme of ‘Leading the Charge’.
The summit, hosted by The Arabian Stories (TAS), will be held on October 15 in Muscat, just ahead of Omani Women’s Day on October 17.
Held under the theme ‘Leading the Charge’, the event aims to celebrate the achievements of women across sectors while encouraging dialogue on their evolving roles in leadership, innovation, and nation-building.
This year’s programme includes keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive sessions focused on entrepreneurship, financial empowerment, innovation, and creativity as drivers of social and economic progress. Other featured sessions include ‘Power of Women in Business’ and the ‘Ambassador’s Forum: Shaping Change Beyond Borders’.
The summit is made possible with the support of key partners. The Oman American Business Council joins as Endorsement Partner, while Liva Insurance, Mazoon, and Bahar are Supporting Partners. Changan serves as Automotive Partner, with Tamrah as Gift Partner, Flora D’Lite as Décor Partner, and Platinumlist as Ticketing Partner. Al Sawt and Business Plus support the event as Media Partners.
