MUSCAT : According to a statement from the ROP, the arrests were made following a precise tracking and detection operation carried out by the Police Command in Al Dakhiliyah, in coordination with the Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances.
The infiltrator was found hiding at a worksite in an under-construction house, where he was being harboured by the other two suspects. Investigations revealed that the trio was involved in the promotion and sale of smuggled drugs, including crystal meth.
Authorities also seized a quantity of the drug and related paraphernalia at the scene.
The ROP confirmed that legal procedures are currently underway against all three individuals.
