Muscat – The evacuees entered Jordan via the King Hussein Bridge, with support and coordination provided by Jordanian authorities.
According to Fouad Al-Majali, the official spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry, stated that the evacuation operation included nationals from several brotherly and friendly countries, among them Oman, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Kuwait, Libya, Pakistan, Turkey, and others, in addition to the safe return of one Jordanian citizen.
The Jordanian authorities provided logistical assistance and humanitarian support upon arrival, ensuring the safety and well-being of all those evacuated. The Ministry also coordinated with the embassies of the respective countries, including that of the Sultanate of Oman, to facilitate onward travel and necessary arrangements for their citizens.
Majali also noted that the Jordanian Chargé d’Affaires in Tel Aviv had earlier visited the location where three passengers from the flotilla were being held, checking on their conditions and ensuring consular access. Two of those individuals had previously been evacuated via Turkey.
