Minsk – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus witnessed the signing of two key agreements and four memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation during His Majesty’s state visit to Minsk.

The agreements include a mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports between Oman and Belarus, and a roadmap for expanding trade and logistics cooperation, particularly in international land freight.

The memoranda of understanding cover collaboration in the judiciary, health, agriculture, and fisheries sectors, as well as joint investment projects, including the establishment and operation of a pulp production facility in Belarus.

The visit marks a major step toward deepening ties between the two nations, paving the way for enhanced economic, legal, and industrial cooperation in the years ahead.
