Muscat – Held in Muscat, the 4-day meeting is being attended by representatives of audit institutions from different Arab countries.
The meeting seeks to enable participants to learn about the best practices in governance through a review of experiences of participating countries. Emphasis is laid on legislation and mechanisms commonly used to enhance governance in public units.
The meeting looks into measures of unifying concepts and guidelines. Working papers to be presented at the meeting outline experiences of Arab countries in this field, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and expertise.
