MUSCAT : The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has announced the appointment of two prominent Omani sports administrators to its global committees, marking another milestone for Oman’s growing presence in international football governance.
Eng. Qutayba bin Saeed Al Ghilani, Vice Chairman of the Oman Football Association (OFA), has been named a member of FIFA’s Olympic Committee. Alongside him, Hajer bint Khamis Al Muzayni, a member of the OFA Board of Directors, has been appointed to FIFA’s Grassroots and Amateur Football Committee.
The appointments are seen as a recognition of the Sultanate’s rising profile in international sport and its contribution to the development of football at both regional and global levels.
