Riyadh: The Sultanate’s pavilion features a wide collection of publications across cultural, scientific, and literary fields, presented by leading institutions such as the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Sultan Qaboos University, and the National Records and Archives Authority, alongside private Omani publishing houses and libraries.

Oman’s participation underscores its commitment to fostering cultural exchange through international book fairs and further strengthening fraternal ties with Saudi Arabia. The initiative also reflects the belief of Omani cultural bodies in the importance of representing the nation’s books at regional and global forums, with the goal of promoting its literary output, showcasing its historical legacy, and enhancing cultural communication with the world.

The Riyadh International Book Fair has drawn about 2,000 publishing houses from over 25 countries and is one of the region’s most significant cultural events. This year’s edition offers more than 200 seminars, lectures, and discussion sessions, in addition to a dedicated children’s platform designed to encourage reading and creativity among young audiences.

The exhibition also hosts a “Business Zone” that provides workshops and dialogue opportunities on publishing, copyright, and licensing, bringing together key players in the literary and creative industries. Visitors can engage with authors at book-signing platforms, explore the latest works, and discover initiatives from universities and cultural organizations worldwide.
