Muscat – The event, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand, marked the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The session was inaugurated by His Excellency Sheikh Hamid bin Ali Al Maani, Head of the Diplomatic Academy, and brought together officials, diplomats, and experts from both nations, as well as representatives from foreign missions accredited to Oman.
Discussions focused on the diplomatic experiences of Oman and Thailand in promoting peace and regional development, role of leadership in both countries in advancing stability and sustainable growth, and opportunities to expand cooperation in key sectors such as tourism, energy, trade, and investment.
Participants emphasised the importance of boosting joint investments and exploring new avenues for collaboration in line with both countries’ aspirations for comprehensive and sustainable development.
