MUSCAT – The ROP stated that the Customs Directorate at Muscat International Airport, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, apprehended the traveller upon his arrival.
He was found in possession of eight kilogrammes of marijuana concealed inside his luggage, with the intent to smuggle and traffic them into the country.
Legal procedures are being completed.
