MUSCAT : Information mentioned in your electricity bill is considered as proof of address in Oman due to its accuracy, E-Census 2020 project informed on Wednesday.
In a statement issued on its official Twitter account, E-Census said: “The residence data provided in the Electricity bill is considered as proof of address for all citizens and residents. The electricity account details have been selected for its accuracy and it covers all residential and non-residential units.”
Electricity bill is also used while renewing residency or identity card in Oman.
