MUSCAT – The announcement was made during the International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution held in New York.
In a statement issued today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Sultanate of Oman affirmed that this step represents an important and encouraging development toward securing justice and legitimate rights for the brotherly Palestinian people.
Oman also expressed its hope that all countries around the world will follow the example set by the growing majority of the international community in supporting the two-state solution, in accordance with international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
