DOHA : In an official letter addressed to the ICAO Council President, Qatar condemned the armed attack carried out by Israel on September 9, 2025, targeting the residential headquarters of several members of the Hamas Political Bureau in Doha. The strike resulted in multiple deaths and injuries, according to Qatari authorities.
The letter emphasized that the assault contravenes the provisions of the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation, a cornerstone of international aviation law. Qatar affirmed that it “reserves all its rights under international law” in response to the incident.
