MUSCAT: Oman Aviation Group on Tuesday confirmed its readiness in providing non-stop cargo operations after the country’s airports reopen starting from October 1.

“We were never affected during the course of the pandemic and air cargo has been the backbone of our operations to sustain the country’s needs, in terms of food and medical supplies. However the timing was the only issue we faced when it came to delivering the goods as it takes five to six days due to the pandemic,” said Mustafa Al Hinai, GCEO of Oman Aviation Group.

Al Hinai welcomed the Supreme Committee’s decision to reopen the airports in the country following six months of closure. “We are continuing our operations without a halt. Our team is fully prepared for the reopening,” Al Hinai added.
