MUSCAT : The Indian Social Club Malayalam Wing will host its annual Onam celebrations on September 19 and 20, 2025, at the Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel, Muscat.
Details of the programme were shared at a press conference attended by the wing’s office bearers. The event will be inaugurated by H.E. G. V. Srinivas and will include cultural performances, traditional festivities and community recognitions.
The highlight of the opening day will be the presentation of the Cultural Award 2025 to renowned Malayalam actor Ashokan, in addition to performances by members and the popular group 74x Manavalans. Winners of Kalolsavam 2025 will also be honoured alongside recipients of the Academic Excellence Award and Special Achievement Award, including Abdul Lateef and Dr Santhosh Geevar.

The second day will feature a Musical Fiesta followed by the traditional Onam Sadya (Onam feast) for invited guests.
