DOHA : Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Sunday urged Arab and Islamic leaders to deliver a strong and unified response to the recent attack on Doha, describing the strike as “living proof” that the threat posed by Israel is “without limits.”
“Our response must be clear, decisive and, above all, deterring,” the King said during his address at the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Qatar.
He warned that Israel’s continued expansionist policies in the occupied West Bank were further eroding the prospects of a two-state solution. He stressed that the summit must move beyond rhetoric to produce practical measures to confront Israel’s actions, end the war in Gaza, and prevent the forced displacement of Palestinians.
