MUSCAT – As part of the Dibba–Lima–Khasab Road project, the implementing company will carry out controlled rock blasting operations and remove debris and rubble that have accumulated on the road. These safety works began on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
To ensure the safety of the public, the road will be fully closed twice daily from Sunday to Thursday, during the following hours:
• Morning: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Evening: 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM
The ministry urged all road users to exercise caution and comply with the closure times, emphasising that the measures are necessary to prevent accidents caused by falling rocks during blasting.
