Moscow: Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that progress remains stalled. “It is essential that there be proper coordination between the Russian and Ukrainian sides, and so far there is none,” she said.

Her remarks follow comments by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who revealed that Moscow had suggested elevating the status of the two countries’ delegations during the last negotiation round in Istanbul. At the time, Russia also proposed creating three working groups to address military, humanitarian, and political issues. According to Lavrov, no response has been received from Kyiv.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced late Wednesday that he is in discussions with Türkiye, European, and Middle Eastern nations to secure a venue for a potential meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
